No matter where you are, there is a place for you here.

We were not meant to live in isolation but rather to thrive in community with one another. We desire to serve you, provide a connection, and offer a welcoming space you can truly call home.

We want to be community focused

At Park Church, we believe we are not made for isolation but to be in community with God and other believers. That’s why we call our groups “Community Groups.”

We like to say that our groups set the P.A.C.E. for Park Church. They do this through:

  • Prayer
  • Accountability
  • Care
  • Encouragement

We have groups in every life stage and located throughout the Des Moines metro area. Groups typically meet on Sunday evenings during the fall, winter, and spring.

Park Kids

At Park Church, we teach our kids that no matter their age, they can encounter God in a real way and have a relationship with Jesus. We also want to empower our kids to pray with authority, fearlessly worship, and undoubtedly know the Word of God!

To cultivate this, we teach Bible-based lessons from the Gospel Project curriculum, have dedicated prayer and quiet times, and have lots and lots of fun!

First Time Info For Parents

All our kid’s ministries meet at 10:30 am on Sundays during our normal worship service.

We have four age-based classes for kids. We recognize that sometimes younger kids don’t fit into a neat age breakdown, so the following class groupings are suggested.

Nursery
0-2yrs

Pre-K Class
3yrs through Pre-K

Lower Elementary Class
K-2nd

Upper Elementary Class
3rd-5th

If this is your first time here, please fill out the “plan your visit form.

We suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes before the service and stop at The Rug in the lobby. A friendly face will be there to meet and greet you.

You can also head directly to the Park Kids check-in desk, where two tags will be printed. One tag is your child’s nametag, which has a special number that matches the second tag (the parent tag) that will be used to check out your child after the service.

Only parents & volunteers with security tags are allowed into our Kids Ministry areas. Volunteers complete background checks and undergo training and screening before being allowed in classrooms. Our security team and emergency medical personnel are present during weekend services.

Get to know others by serving others

One of the fastest and best ways to connect with others is to volunteer and serve!

We have many opportunities to serve inside the walls of the church, including kids’ ministry, music, greeting, and many more!

We also have several opportunities to serve outside the walls of the church as well. We hold community events, put on a local car show, serve at homeless shelters, and more.

We would love to get to know you better while serving others. Click the button below and send us a message for more information on where we can plug you in and help make more and better disciples!
